Programs

The Clare Boothe Luce Policy Institute provides students with the ideas, resources, and role models they need to promote intellectual diversity and informed discussion at their schools.

Student Activism

Clare Boothe Luce serves as a leading example of the personal and professional success that come from grace, hard work, dignity, faith, commitment to family, unwavering values, and strength. For this reason, we help students bring conservative viewpoints to their campus by hosting women who are leaders in their home, workplace, and community as well as advocates for the conservative principles upon which our nation was built. These events are centered on the need for academic excellence in education through balanced debate and discussion about important public policy issues. Leadership Training & Mentoring

We highlight women role models and provide special mentoring opportunities most conservative young women are never exposed to during high school and college. Our training seminars and workshops challenge young women to enhance their leadership skills on campus and in their community. Through annual student mentoring programs, we encourage young women to consider conservative viewpoints, to discover their voice, to acquire practical skills they can use in the professional world, and to pursue their dreams—whether that be a career, marriage or motherhood. Networking

Our monthly Conservative Women's Network (CWN) luncheons, co-hosted with the Heritage Foundation, provide a forum for leaders to present conservative ideas on various issues. Local women of all ages in the Washington, D.C. area come together to discuss, debate, and make new acquaintances. CBLPI also hosts an Afternoon With an Author series to highlight new conservative books and encourage networking and discussion. Left: montage of CWN luncheons.
